The service

Primed is a workout tracking app for your phone, on the App Store and Google Play, with a web dashboard at primedlog.com for the trainers who coach on it. Primed is operated by Makappen Ltd. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Makappen Ltd. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

Makappen Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 11985285. Registered office: 33 Boston Road South, Holbeach, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England, PE12 7LR. Contact: support@primedlog.com.

Trial and subscription

Your data is your responsibility too

If you're signed in, your training data syncs to your account in the cloud, so it follows you across devices and survives a lost phone (see our Privacy Policy for the details). If you use Primed as a guest, everything is stored only on the device you are using, and deleting the app, clearing that browser's data or losing the device can erase it for good. We can't recover guest data we never had.

Either way, Settings → Account → Export & import gives you a backup file whenever you want one, and Settings → Privacy → Download my data gives you a copy in formats other software can open. It's a good habit.

Not medical advice

Readiness scores and training suggestions are informational only, including where they are calculated from sleep, heart rate or other figures read from your phone's health app. Primed is not a medical device. Nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it should not be used to detect or monitor a condition. Listen to your body and consult a qualified professional before making health decisions, especially if you have a medical condition or are new to training.

Coaching

Primed lets you connect with a personal trainer, so they can send you programmes and see how your training is going. Connecting is always your choice: it happens only when you accept an invite from your trainer, and you can end it at any time.

If you use Primed as a trainer, you also agree to invite only people who have agreed to be coached by you, to use what you can see about them solely to coach them, never to share or sell it, and to follow the law that applies to you, including data protection law. We may remove access to the coaching tools if that is not being honoured.

Messaging: what is not allowed, and what we do about it

Primed lets you and your trainer send each other messages, photos and voice notes. These rules apply to everything you send. You agree to them before your first message, and they apply to trainers exactly as they apply to members.

We aim to review every report within one working day. Where a report is upheld we remove the content, and depending on what happened we may warn the account, remove access to the coaching tools, or suspend or delete the account entirely. Serious cases are actioned immediately and without warning. We may also act on content we find ourselves, without a report. If you think we have got a decision wrong, email support@primedlog.com and a person will look at it again.

Reporting a message stores a copy of that message, and the identity of the account reported, so that we can review it. That is covered in the privacy policy.

Fair use

One account is for one person. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service, resell access, or use Primed for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, and if the call is ours we'll help you get the unused time refunded by the store that took the payment.

Liability

Primed is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data stored only on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your statutory consumer rights.

Who can use Primed

You need to be 16 or over to have a Primed account. If you are under 16, please don't sign up. If we find out an account belongs to someone under 16 we'll delete it. You also need to be able to enter a contract where you live, and you agree that the details you give us are your own and are accurate.

Your right to change your mind

If you're a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days from the day you subscribe to cancel and get your money back, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the equivalent rules where you live. This is on top of anything else in these terms and we won't ask you for a reason.

Two things worth knowing. First, the 14-day free trial takes no payment at all, so in practice there is usually nothing to refund. Second, if you ask us to give you full access straight away and we do, you're agreeing that we start the service inside the cancellation period, and if you then cancel a proportionate amount may be kept for the days you had it. Because every subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play, they take the payment and they process the refund, so that is where to make the request: cancel in your phone's subscription settings and ask that store for a refund within the 14 days. Email support@primedlog.com if the store turns you down or you can't find the route, and we'll help you pursue it. None of this affects your statutory rights.

Changes to the price and to Primed itself

We may change what Primed costs. If we do, we'll tell you at least 30 days before a renewal is charged at the new price, so you can cancel first if you'd rather not pay it. A price change never applies to a period you've already paid for.

Primed will keep changing: features get added, and occasionally one gets removed or reworked. If we ever have to stop running Primed altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice, make sure you can export everything first, and help you get the unused part of anything you've paid refunded by the store that took it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close yours for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll help you get the unused time refunded by the store that took the payment.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, none of that takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your own local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be announced in the app, and the date above always reflects the latest version. If you keep using Primed after a change, that's acceptance of the new terms.
